Sorry, you haven’t heard from me in awhile. We have been faced with some pretty unexpected decisions the past couple weeks and all my blogging plans have been derailed for the time being. The big news is that we are moving! A job opportunity became available in my Husbands hometown and after much debate and several sleepless nights (by me, not my husband, of course) we decided to accept the job. This was a super hard decision for us to make because we were just getting started on renovating our house and making it our own. After only living in it for three short years walking away from it is going to kill me! This house was well on its way to becoming my dream home. Ultimately, it was the only thing that was holding me back from moving and that is a very stupid reason, let’s be honest. There will always be another house. The opportunity to live closer to our families is going to be a huge blessing for our family and I could not pass that up. We now have a few short weeks to fix up our house and sell it. The good news is we have a lot of people interested in it and have already had several stop by to see it.
From here on out I will try my best to keep you updated on social media with the latest details of our renovation. Life is a little crazy right now but I will try my best!
Quick update of what has been happening the past few weeks. Mostly boring stuff but we have textured all the walls and ceilings, which took forever!!! I thought it was never going to end. Yesterday we finished up painting the walls and ceilings and the plan for this weekend is to start laying floors upstairs.
Anyways stay tuned for updates and hopefully more details!
Jessica…this has been quite a busy year for you. Be kind to yourself. All will be fine. ❤️
It may feel like all your caring and hard work has been for naught and that you’re leaving your precious treasures behind….but you have an exciting future ahead, and everything you’ve learned from your current home you take with you to create a new and even better home! Remember…If God be for you who could be against you? So expect blessings to come your way missy….
Look for a new home that you can pour yourself into with all your wonderful talent and the help of your supportive husband.
Bless you! Keep in touch!
Hugs from Linda
